- Common sources of lawsuits pediatric dentists face and how to protect against them, including failure to diagnose or treat, informed consent issues, anesthesia and sedation complications, staff negligence, record keeping errors, and premises liability.
- How pediatric dentists can protect both professional and personal assets from lawsuits.
- Best practices for structuring a pediatric dental practice to reduce legal exposure.
- How to protect the practice, equipment, real estate, and personal assets in the event of a judgment exceeding liability coverage or a policy exclusion..
- Common asset protection mistakes made by pediatric dentists and their advisors, such as improper ownership structures or relying solely on insurance.

This program provides evidence-based updates for dental professionals on current strategies for the use of antibiotics, analgesics, local anesthetics and other dental drugs. The administration of emergency drugs, particularly via non- intravenous routes, is also covered.

- Review the clinical characteristics of common dental drugs;
- Apply scientific evidence to the selection and use of common dental drugs;
- Understand non-intravenous administration of emergency drugs, including epinephrine and opioid antagonists
